Flagg Street in Dayton in 1880 census. Bridget must have died sometime
between 1880 and 1900 census. She was the daughter of Michael Connely and
Bridget Henneberry. Edward and Bridget had a daughter, Catherine, nicknamed
Katie. Does anyone have any information on this family. My g-grandmother

Would like to correspond with anyone who
has information on Michael SCHMIDT/SMITH who migrated to Montgomery Co.
OH from Frederick Co. MD.and supposedly died there in 1815. His first wife
was Mary _____ whose will was dated 1781 and probated 1783 leaving everything
to a daughter Mary. His second wife was said to be Veronica ______ born
about 1755 and died during childbirth before 1810 census. His third wife
was said to be a Catherine _____. Can anyone help me? Census records,

SHAEFFER
I am trying to find the parents of my GGrandfather
Joseph W. SHAEFFER who was born in 1827 somewhere in Penn. He married Lucinda
Dicner of Indiana and lived Dayton,Ohio as I have his military papers showing
that he enlisted in the Union Army in 1862 at Springfield, Ohio. Their
oldest son, Amelious Harvey SHAEFFER, was born in 1862 at Dayton,Montgomery
County,Ohio.and their three other children, John, Lillian and Mary may
have been born there. They moved to Creston,Iowa and both Joseph and his
wife died there around 1900. If you have any information on them, please

Looking for information of John H. &
Phillip SHOE. They were father & son. John was listed in the 1850 census
in Clay Township, and Phillip was listed in the same census in Perry Township.
John died c. 1862., but I could not find his will or cemetery. I don't
know if Phillip stayed in Perry Township, Montgomery County, OH. I do not
have access to cemeteries in Montgomery CO., but would really like
Phillip's dates. John's wife was Prudence but I did not find any will for
her. Anyone who is researching this family please send an e-mail.

I am trying to find the parents of my gr.
gr. gr. grandmother SIDNEY SMITH. Sidney was born in 1812 in England probably
of German parents as she always lived in German communities. She married
David DICKENSHEETS 4, Feb. 1831 in Frederick Co., Md (the area that later
became Carroll Co., Md.). The family came to Montgomery Co., Ohio ca 1839
and lived in Harrison Twp. Sidney died 26, Sept.
1852 and is buried in the old Florence/Kerr Cemetery as is her husband
David who died in 1871. The cemetery is located off Northcutt Dr, behind
the drive-in theater. Her name might have been Schmidt etc.

Looking for information on my STANLEY and
BOWEN lines. I have accounts of both the James Stanley and Daniel Bowen
families leaving Clayton, Montgomery Co., OH in 1823 for the west. They
travelled with a group of 600 followers of John Smith, the Morman leader.
If anyone has information about this large group of Mormans leaving Clayton,
1823, or either the Stanley or Bowen families, I'd appreciate hearing from
you and happy to share information. Both families settled in Pike co.,

Stewart, in this county, 1800-1840. I do not have access to census records

SWISHER is my family surname from Montgomery
Co. Ohio. My Greatgrandfather was b. in 1818 in either Union or Clay, in
Randolph Twp., or poss. Clayton. I have never been to Montg. Co. Do these
areas overlap, join or what ? Family lived fhere from about 1816 till 1829,
then moved to Greenville, Darke Co. Would appreciate
clarification. SWISHERS were millers in
occupation.

Looking for information on William (K ?)
TAYLOR married an Eliza or Liza NEWTON. Liza was born 2/1834 in Tenn. They
had 10 children...I only know of one - Alfred N. Taylor b 6/3/1854. He
settled in Battle Creek, Mich. Eliza had a daughter named Margaret Ann
- I believe illegitimate. William died I believe in Montgomery Co. prior
to 1900. 1900 census for Montgomery County has her living with daughter
(Margaret)Anna and her husband Henry WYMAN- a widow. I believe William
had a brother named Charles Blaine TAYLOR. b. 1844 in Ohio. Shows his parents
from Pennsylvania.

Ellen (Thompson)MOONEY (wife of John F. MOONEY), Moses THOMPSON and

My line decends from Ellen or Eleanor

Trying to sort out the details and relationships
of this family. Richard Thralls died about August 1818. He was 'late of
Jefferson Twp., Montgomery Co., Ohio.' However his children were living
in Prebel Co. in the 1830s. George R. (Rizer?) Thralls married Hetty Ann
Pottenger? 9 Sep 1833 in Preble Co. George R. Thralls later moved to Kuscuisco
Co., IN. Brother Arthur A. Thralls married Maria Green 26 Feb 1839 in Preble
Co. Why were both these brothers, George R. and Arthur A. Thralls heirs
of George Rizer who died in Maryland in 1837? Several of George Rizer children
also lived in Preble Co. BUT WHAT IS THE RELATIONSHIP to these Thralls??
